Etta M. Gannaway

Etta Mae Gannaway, 93 of McCalla,  Alabama, passed on April 18, 2026. Etta was a faithful member of The Baptist Church at McAdory. She worked for many years and retired from Collateral Mortgage. She will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Etta is preceded in death by her parents, Grant and Gertrude Robertson; son, Alan J. Gannaway;  5 siblings and several other family members. She is survived by her husband of 75 years, Hayes A. Gannaway; children, Steven Gannaway (Teresa) and Susan Lacey; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. 

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM. Graveside service will begin in Patterson Forest Grove Memorial Gardens at 12:30 PM with Pastor Bill McCall officiating.
