Elijah Otwell, 16 of Mulga, Alabama passed away October 9, 2019.
He was a student at Oak Grove High where he was a member of the Cross County, Golf, Basketball and Baseball teams. He was also inducted into the National Honor Society and the Math Club. He attended Hunter Street Baptist Church and was a member of the Hunter Street Student Ministry/Missions. He is survived by his parents, Melvin and Melanie Otwell; grandparents, Richard and Myrtle Jett and Richard and Ida Adkins; aunts, Monica Grammer, Debbie Gardiner and Yvette Otwell; uncles, Phillip Grammer, Phillip Gardiner and Jeff Otwell; cousins, Jett Grammer, Josh Gardiner, Jeremy Gardiner, Ashley Otwell and Adam Otwell; a host of other aunts, uncles and cousins; numerous other family and friends. LIFE Celebration will be held on Saturday, October 12, at 1:00 pm, at Hunter Street Baptist Church, in Hoover, AL. Buddy Gray and John Killian officiating. There will be no visitation or viewing.
Immediately following his celebration of LIFE, there will be a graveside service at Salter Cemetery in Birmingport, Alabama, 2310 Parsons Loop Road
Mulga, AL 35118.
All family and friends are invited to meet at Elijah’s house after the graveside service.
