Dorothy "Dot" Mae Hendrix, 83 of Ragland, Alabama formerly of Pleasant Grove, Alabama passed away November 19, 2019. She worked at Parisians in customer service for numerous years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tarpe and Velma Banks; brothers, Bobby Banks and James Banks; and several step brothers and step sisters. She is survived by her husband, John Hendrix; daughter, Sheila Flurry (Don); sons, Michael Hendrix, Terry Hendrix (Michelle), John David Hendrix (Donna); grandchildren, Jessica Pittman (Jordan), Christy Hendrix, Chad Donaldson (Kim); Brandy Gillespie (Eric); step grandson, JoDon Flurry; great grandchildren, Kylie Donaldson, Jake Donaldson, Allyson Pittman, John Henry Pittman. Visitation will be Friday, November 22, 2019 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Pastor Jim Parker.
