David Lee Kelly

David Lee Kelly, of McCalla, AL, passed away June 3, 2019 at the age of 73. Rev. David Kelly pastored for seventeen years in the Bible Missionary Church. He pastored for twenty years the Bible Holiness Church in Asheboro, NC. He preached the straight and narrow way of heart holiness and did his best to live accordingly. It was his calling, and he was faithful. After those years in ministry, he worked ten years for the USDA as a cartographic technician. He was highly respected by his co-workers for his hard work and dedication. He was a devoted father and a loving husband to his wife of fifty years. Rev. Kelly was predeceased by his son, Timothy David Kelly and his parents, Lloyd and Mildred Kelly. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Ann Wheeler Kelly; sons, Kevin Patrick (Amanda) Kelly, J.D. (Marisa) Kelly, Nathan Andrew Kelly; daughters, Jennifer LeAnn (Allen) Humphrey, Amy Elizabeth (Mark) Crews, Sara Lynn (Kirk) Duvall, Rachel Anne Endicott; grandchildren, Reid, Jake, Cole and Tess Humphrey, Jack and Camille Kelly, Caden Crews and Elijah Jennings, Elizabeth, Ashley, Landon and Connor Duvall, Morgan Endicott; sisters, Karen Fink and Kathy (Hank) Morris and many loving family and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, June 7, 2019 from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM at Patterson Forest Grove Chapel, with funeral services starting at 2:00 PM.
