Corrie June Chapin

Mrs. Corrie June Chapin, age 90 of Pleasant Grove, passed away at a Birmingham hospital on July 5, 2026. Corrie was born in Seminole, Oklahoma on July 15, 1935, as one of 7 children, to the late James Vandiver & Corrie Geneva Woods White. Beside her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings, Lavene Owens, Vaniree Moore, Helen White, James White, Preston White and Gravis White.

Mrs. Chapin leaves behind, to cherish her memories, her beloved and devoted husband of 71 1/2 years, Glenn V. Chapin; son, David Glenn Chapin (Judy); daughter, Glenda June Chapin Ryan (Keith); grandchildren, Daniel Chapin (Meredith), Bethany Beck (Tim), Brooke Qualls (Jason), Stacy Paris (Clay) and Megan Johnson (Will); great grandchildren, Olivia, Logan, Lacey Claire Chapin, Caleb and Connor Beck, Killion and Kyla Qualls and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mrs. Chapin retired after 43 years of profound service to Mutual Savings Credit Union where she filled almost every position there with confidence, professionalism and care for her customers.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 10, 2026 beginning at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home with interment to follow in Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Bro. Timothy Beck, Bro. Rick Yancy and Bro. Joshua Durr officiating services.
