Carolyn Ann Riggins, age 74, of Mulga, Alabama, went to her heavenly home on November 19, 2020. She passed away at Northcrest Medical Center in Springfield, Tennessee after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 42 years, James Monroe Riggins along with her parents and a sister. She is survived by a son, Jeffrey E. Montgolf of Mulga, Alabama; by her daughter, Sandy Latham-Jaradat (Ayman); three sisters; Jeanette F. Ekdahl of San Tee, California, Renay Moore (Robert) of Brierfield, Alabama; Debra Wilson of Oneonta, Alabama; and one brother, Wallace A. Wilson Jr. (Genger) of Cape Coral, Florida; and a host nieces and nephews. She was a long-time member of the Forestdale Church of the Nazarene in Forestdale, Alabama. She loved God and was a dedicated Christian. For many years, she took care of the elderly and worked in the nursing home and assisted living facilities. She enjoyed her work and loved helping others. Visitation for Carolyn will be at the Forestdale Church of the Nazarene on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Her service will be at 11:00 a.m. at the church followed by a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama. Reverend Dwight DeNegly will be officiating. In leu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jennifer Green Foundation.
