Bobbie Sue Clum-Jimenez, 44, of Bessemer, Alabama, passed away on September 30, 2025, at DCH Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her family. Bobbie was born on April 21, 1982, in Amarillo, Texas, to Thomas Clum and Donna Marsella. She was a part of Brighton School family for several years, where she touched many lives. Before her passing, she was working with Pre-K students. She took great pride in helping her students grow and learn. The students at Brighton loved Ms. Bobbie, and she will be missed deeply by all who knew her.
In addition to her dedication to her students at Brighton, Bobbie was also a pillar of the Hueytown Youth Soccer Club, where she volunteered in her free time. She was also a member of various organizations that supported Spanish-speaking families and the Hispanic community. Through her kindness, dedication and compassion, she left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Bobbie is survived by her husband, Fidel Jimenez; children, Kristyna Jimenez, Melissa Jimenez, and Miguel Jimenez; three older children, Alex Godshall, Cheyenne Short, and Kyle McCord; siblings, Roseanne Clum, Christina Leonard, and Daniella Clum; her nieces and nephews, Victoria Clum and her 5 children, Jamie Clum and his 2 children, Christopher Clum, Julia Leonard and her child, Victoria Leonard, and Sophia Leonard. Bobbie was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, friends, and her belove daughter, Madison Jimenez.
Funeral services were Friday, October 9, 2026 at 11:15 AM at Summit Life Church (2024 Long 12th St N, Bessemer, AL). No other services planned at this time.
