Beverly Ann Coleman, a cherished mother, grandmother, and devoted caregiver, passed away on June 4, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her. Born on September 26, 1948, as Beverly Burgess, she blossomed into a woman who dedicated her life to nurturing others, embracing her role as a homemaker and the world’s best babysitter with passion and devotion.
Beverly had a heart of gold, a personality that radiated kindness, and a deep-seated love for her family, her grandbabies, and her beloved fur babies. Her home was always filled with laughter, love, and the delightful aroma of her favorite dish: turkey and dressing loaded with sage. She had a particular fondness for Diet Pepsi and sweet treats, which were often shared during lively family gatherings. Beverly took great joy in life's simple pleasures, often seen sitting on her back porch, watching birds flutter about and listening to music while tending to her mother’s exquisite rose bushes.
She enjoyed working through her assortment of "search a word" puzzle books, which provided countless hours of amusement. A true lover of life, she found solace in watching her beloved soap operas, losing herself in the stories that mirrored her own rich experiences.
Beverly will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Wayne Coleman (Laurie), Michael Coleman, and Terry Coleman (Lenae); her daughters, Dana Campbell and Kelly Brown (Michael); her brother John Terry Burgess (Janya); The joy in Beverly's life grew ever more profound through her 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immeasurable happiness. She was also survived by her cherished chosen sister, whom she loved dearly, Donna Sue Burgess
Preceding her in death were her devoted husband, Robert M. Coleman; her parents, Roy and Rose Burgess; her sister, Donna Faye Wilkerson; and her grandchildren, Melissa Coleman and Michael Campbell. While their absence leaves a void, it is a testament to the profound impact she had on their lives.
Beverly’s legacy as a nurturing spirit, an avid caregiver, and a beacon of love will forever resonate within her family and all those fortunate enough to have known her. She served as a gentle reminder of the power of compassion and the beauty found in everyday moments.
