Amy Elisabeth Salter

Amy Elisabeth Fisher Salter, age 51, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2026, at UAB Medical West Hospital. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2026, at North Highlands Baptist Church, with Pastor Mike Wallace officiating. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to service.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack W. Fisher.

Survivors include her husband, Jeff Salter; sons, Cole (Stefanie) and Nolan Salter; mother, Nancy Dabbs Fisher; sister, Jenni Fisher Corbett; nephew, Garrett Hosey; niece, Maddie Corbett; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, co-workers, and friends. Amy loved her dogs deeply and also leaves behind Abbi and Smokie.

Amy graduated from Hueytown High School in 1993. She completed cosmetology school and worked at several hair salons before becoming a stay-at-home mom to her sons, who were her greatest joy. She later worked as a manager at Wholesale Accessory Market for over a decade.
