Amy Lou Parsons Pierce

Amy Lou Parsons Pierce, of Hoover, Alabama, passed away on February 2, 2020, at the age of 91. Before retiring, she worked many years with Hancock Fabrics. She was a longtime resident of Pleasant Grove and a member of New Faith Baptist Church Pleasant Grove. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, James A. Pierce and her siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Moore (Douglas) and son, Stephen Pierce (Nancy); grandchildren, Stefanie Pierce Tolbert (Christopher) and Stephen Pierce II; a step-grandson, Michael Moore (Emily); two great grandsons, Ayden Christopher Jackson-Pierce and Carter Alexander Tolbert; and other relatives and friends. Private services and burial will be held Saturday, February 8, 2020. The family extends its appreciation to the compassionate care provided by the staff at Princeton Baptist Medical Center. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Alzheimer's of Central Alabama.
