Alvertis McRee

Alvertis McRee, 88 years old of Pell City, went to her Heavenly Home on October 27,2026. Born on May 16,1938. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Glasco Jenning and Unie Aubrey Jennings, three brothers, one sister, two sons and a daughter.

She is survived by her husband JD, her brother, Gary (Marie) 

Her children: Eunie Posey, Joanie Taylor (David), Lisa Carmichael (David), Doug Honeycutt (Celest), Chris McRee, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great great grand daughter, stepchildren: Sheila.Donna,Kayla,Jeff, and Jeremy.

Throughout her life she loved the Lord and served Him faithfully while her family’s hearts are broken by her absence there is a great celebration in Heaven!

Visitation will be Thursday, October 29, 2026 from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM at The Lighthouse Church (1600 Faircrest Dr, Hueytown, AL 35023). Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. Pastor Larry Martin and Rev. Keith Brakefield officiating. Burial will follow the service in Patterson Forest Grove Memorial Gardens.
