Charles Gordon Broome

Charles Gordon Broome, of Bessemer, passed away October 8, 2021, at the age of 56. He was a member of The Station Church where he enjoyed serving the Lord any way he could. While serving 8 years in the Air Force, Charles spent one year in Sicily. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Evan and Patricia Miller Broome; sons, Jason Howard and Benjamin Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Janice Jones Broome; daughters, Rachel Snoddy (Chadd) and Jessica Hix; grandchildren, Kaylee Hix, Aaliyah Hix, Chelsea Hurst, Kaleb Hurst, Jonathon Snoddy, Colton Snoddy and Lane Snoddy; sister, Barbara Wilkerson; furry friends, Gracie, Sabastian, Sasha and his favorite, Itty Bitty; several nieces and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM. Rev. Randy Norris officiating.
